A very polished corporate Master of Ceremonies and comedian, Greg Hayes originally hails from Perth, where his uncanny impressions of sporting personalities and politicians led to regular guest appearances on radio and television.

A very polished corporate Master of Ceremonies and comedian, Greg Hayes originally hails from Perth, where his uncanny impressions of sporting personalities and politicians led to regular guest appearances on radio and television. After moving to Sydney in 1979 he was soon busy performing at clubs, theatre restaurants, corporate events and on cruise ships etc.
His impressions range from Hollywood favourites to a host of Australian politicians and media people. A celebrated interview with Alan Jones on 2UE, Sydney in 1993 was a classic, with Greg impersonating the then Prime Minister Paul Keating, thus creating quite a stir with the listening audience for a long time after.
Indeed since then, Greg has gone on to perfect the Alan Jones style and voice and very successfully incorporates "Alan" into every show he now does.
TV credits include "A Country Practice", "Young Doctors" and a number of appearances on the "Midday Show".
Corporate credits include Nissan, Sanyo, Exide Batteries, Ampol, Stratco, Royal Canberra Golf Club, Insulflex, National Union of Workers, Metal Roofing & Cladding Association, Newsagents Association, Blacktown Council, The Australian Institute of Building, Aristocrat Technologies plus several product launches, training videos and commercials.
Many of these corporate functions included Greg being engaged for his excellent MC skills, as well as his standup comedy work. His attention to detail within the MC role has endeared him to many clients.
Greg has extensive voice-over experience and was often heard on 2UE with the late Stan Zemanek's night time radio show. Greg toured regularly with the "Slim Dusty Show" where, as an adjunct to his stand up comedy, he brought to life country greats Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson. He has also starred in his own package show "COLD HARD CASH" in which he pays tribute to the Legend Johnny Cash and also features The Men in Black Band, plus a special female guest artist.
Greg Hayes can perform his stand-up solo spot, or utilise a backing band. He appeals to a wide audienceand always delights with his comic wit and truly amazing vocal likenesses.
