Speakers Australia and its principal Peter Physick have provided the most convenient and professional service we have encountered.
In over 25 years of our Institute providing our members with current, thought provoking and topical issue speakers for our conferences and forums, we have come to rely on the outstanding judgement of Peter and Speakers Australia.
Whether it be entertainers for a broad audience or the most challenging conference topic, Speakers Australia has never failed to deliver.
We, at the AMInstitute, are faced with the dilemma of providing our delegates at conferences with new and exciting presenters year after year and as many of our delegates attend each year, we need presenters and entertainers with new material.
This challenge has been made obsolete by Speakers Australia as they have taken the time to know our business, our target audience and our history………

Speakers Australia is the only company we turn to for advice and service in this key field.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Peter Physick at Speakers Australia since the year 2000 and have never been let down by his recommendations. I tell Peter the type of speaker or act that we require and he supplies a number of names and CV's of the speakers or acts which fit our requirements. It is as simple as that.
Peter’s professional attitude and friendly manner makes it an absolute pleasure to deal with him. I can not recommend him highly enough to any one or to an organisation which needs help in arranging, organising or advising on the best fit for their special event.

"Success often looks easy, but it rarely is. The journey is full of setbacks and rejections, failures and disappointments... perseverance is the key."

Jason Stevens is a dynamic corporate speaker and team energizer. His stories will move you, his determination will motivate you and his success will inspire you.
Jason grew up in the suburb of Brighton Le Sands in a family of four. Amidst some challenging family circumstances, he advanced both academically and on the sporting field but was not considered your average sport star.
Although he had played the game of rugby league at the highest level for 14 seasons, representing both NSW and Australia on numerous occasions, it's his work off the paddock that has contributed to him being described by Australia's number one newspaper as "the changing face of rugby league".
|
|
He also achieved a UAI of 97 and completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at The University of New South Wales and began work with Ernst & Young before pursuing League on a full time basis. Jason has thrown himself into many worthwhile charitable projects, as Peter Costello commented after Jason was presented by the National Rugby League with the Ken Stephens award for outstanding contribution to the community. "It's refreshing to learn about one player with a heart as big as his incredible size ... what a great advertisement for rugby league".
Jason is an established author; his first book “Worth the Wait” became a bestseller in Australia and his second book “Stand Tall” released this year has also been well received. Jason's media experience has steadily grown, and after numerous appearances on Channel Nines "The Footy show", Jason was given an opportunity with ABC's “The Fat”, a sporting and lifestyle program which Jason appeared on fortnightly for three years.
During this show Jason participated in interviewing many sporting greats such as Jonah Lomu and Mat Hayden, as well as being given the opportunity to participate in interviews with actors such as Heath Ledger and Sir Derek Jacobi.
His enthusiasm to do entertainment-based TV was echoed by a further stint on The Footy Show. During this time Jason combined and initiated several skits alongside Matthew Johns and gave the audience enormous amounts of laughter and highlighted Jason's ability to laugh at himself. These appearances led to further interviews with major international celebrities.
Whether he was swapping smack down stories with "The Rock", flexing his muscles at a blushing Nicole Kidman on the red carpet, singing with the Village People, talking crime investigation with Cold Case's Detective Rush or learning dance moves in a dance workout with Carmen Electra, Jason Stevens' creativity and genuine style combine to leave the audiences wanting more.
In 2006, Jason had the opportunity to film a documentary in Columbia called "Disposable Ones" which will be featured nationally through Hoyts cinema's during June 13th-26th. This documentary takes an in depth look at the serious economic and social challenges that face many of the youth on Columbia.
It seems that whether he is telling a joke, speaking on sensitive issues or talking sport, Jason Stevens speaks with passion and authority. Jason has been invited on two occasions to speak at Parliament House in an intimate audience with former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, and has also regularly given his time to speak at schools on a variety of issues, as well as in a corporate environment and has entertained such clients as Telstra and Phillips delivering key note messages on leadership and team building.

Jason Stevens was not your average sport star. He has played for the last 14 seasons in the National Rugby League competition with both the Cronulla Sharks and the St George Dragons, in a game which is second to none when it comes to mental and physical toughness.
He has also represented NSW and Australia on numerous occasions, and received in 2000 an Australian Sportsman's Medal for his accomplishments on the field; however it's his work off the paddock that has contributed to him being described by Australia's number one newspaper as "the changing face of rugby league".
